Lines were short and the weather was great - it was really a perfect time of year to come visit!
Brycen loves rock climbing, so I had to get a picture of him with Tarzan, a fellow climber. :)
Unfortunately there weren't many characters around, so pictures with statues is pretty much all we got.
When I came to Disneyland as a youth I loved Mr Toad's Wild Ride. Going on it now was honestly kind of anticlimatic. I think I just loved it the first time because I went on it with my brother Steve who was goofy and screaming the whole time.
Brycen turned out to not be the true king of Camelot, although he gave it his best effort :)
I always love the Jungle Cruise because it's just full of punny jokes (I adore a good pun). But I think Brycen and I both agree that our favorite ride from this trip was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Okay nevermind, Brycen just told me his favorite was Space Mountain.
But the railroad was great because we got to go twice in a row! Plus, the mountain itself with the red rock just reminds us of home. We live in such a beautiful state.
We were absolutely exhausted by the time the park closed. Getting up early and driving all day and then speed walking around Disney made for a long but satisfying day.
